I thought that I would need dentures. I was wrong. Young family dental did a fantastic job. We’re only a portion of the way done and already I am smiling with confidence again. Even after Alyson deep cleaned I already could see an amazing difference and probably would have been satisfied with that however Dr White and assistant Jackie came in and really fine tuned the surface and repaired the terrible notching that was happening to my teeth. I was incredibly comfortable and well cared for throughout the process. I’m going back in on Wednesday for the next round. I’m so excited. It makes a real difference to feel comfortable smiling- to be comfortable actually being and showing happiness. I am really sad to be writing this review. After finally finding a dentists office that I love with friendly staff, my family and I are now searching for a new dentist. I’ve been going to Young Family since April 2025. I received a cleaning then, and another in October 2025. Then 6 months later, received an April 2026 cleaning. However, my April 2026 cleaning was scheduled for 1 week before my annual frequency requirement from my insurance (1 cleaning every 6 months and no more than 2 in a calendar year). I was offered this time by Young Family and was told it was 6 months from my last appointment, so I was good.
Insurance denied my April 2026 cleaning because my appointment was scheduled 9 days too early. I now owe $130 to Young Family. I am frustrated because I am now on the hook for the office’s scheduling mistake while also playing middleman between them and my insurance. My insurance is claiming that it’s clear to the provider on the frequency of my cleanings, while Young Family is claiming that the frequency was unclear. I was offered no apologies by Young Family. Instead, I was told that I could pay just $70 instead of the $130. They did admit that the scheduling was an error, but that was it. I am now writing an appeals letter to insurance while debating putting this bill on a credit card to avoid being sent to collections. We are currently on 1 tight income due to my spouse being in school full time and just having a new baby in May 2026. She used a different kind of scanner, and it was awesome to see exactly what her and the dentist were talking about. Rakel was also so kind and friendly. Dr. Workman was awesome. He is so nice and made me feel very relaxed. He did an amazing job. The front desk was super helpful because I didn’t have insurance. I highly recommend this office. “These guys are awesome! I had a tooth break on a Friday afternoon and they got me in right away! I’ve since seen 3 different dentists there and have no complaints. The office staff is incredible and friendly. I still am not a huge fan of going to the dentist, but this office has really helped alleviate my fears and dental anxiety. I would recommend them to anyone.”

I’ve known Dr. Chris for over 10 years, and my experience with him has been awesome. I got Invisalign with him to straighten my teeth, and it was incredible to have straight teeth! It was great, too, that I was an adult and I didn’t have to walk around with braces like a teenage weirdo. Chris and YFD are excellent, I highly recommend them.

I took both my 8 year old and 3 year old daughters there, and it was great experience from beginning to end. It was the first time for my 3 year old (don’t judge me ?) Jacqueline was great at making it a fun experience for her. Jessica helped take care of my 8 year old who had some infection on a tooth she had worked on a while ago. And the dentist was great too. Overall, everyone was friendly, everything was clean, and at the end I had a credit on my account that I didn’t know was there which was an added bonus.

I love young family dental! Their assistants are great and make me feel comfortable which is important to me because I don’t like going to the dentist. The dentists are very informative and make me feel at ease as well. They take extra time and care to make sure you fully understand what is being done and what needs to be done.
