Our family has all had great experiences with Young Family Dental in American Fork. They have been easy to work with (especially when it comes to scheduling). My wife had a root canal surgery done today by Dr. Gervasi and Courtney and had nothing but good things to say about them and her experience despite the work that was being done. They made sure she was comfortable and all taken care of!

Dr. Gervasi is an excellent dentist! I got 16 crowns, 8 top and 8 bottom, and my teeth are beautiful and perfect! Dr. Gervasi is very professional and personable. He is the best dentist in the state of Utah! I highly recommend Dr. Gervasi!

Dr Gervasi is phenomenal. He went above and beyond. He made sure we knew our options to keep a tooth instead of other dentists always saying to pull it out. My children usually fear dental visits, but this clinic made them feel comfortable right away. The hygienists are friendly and know how to work with kids. The environment feels calm and supportive, which makes a big difference.

For a consultation appointment, it was pretty backed up, but after going to ask them about time, I was seen.

However, going for my fillings, I felt like the gentlemen who was my dentist did a great job. I liked how he worked & he was pretty thorough about making sure my bite was done well.

Update: The Office Manager reached out promptly and quickly resolved the situation. I really appreciate the resolution and would like to continue to use this practice in the future.

I am really sad to be writing this review. After finally finding a dentists office that I love with friendly staff, my family and I are now searching for a new dentist. I’ve been going to Young Family since April 2025. I received a cleaning then, and another in October 2025. Then 6 months later, received an April 2026 cleaning. However, my April 2026 cleaning was scheduled for 1 week before my annual frequency requirement from my insurance (1 cleaning every 6 months and no more than 2 in a calendar year). I was offered this time by Young Family and was told it was 6 months from my last appointment, so I was good.

Insurance denied my April 2026 cleaning because my appointment was scheduled 9 days too early. I now owe $130 to Young Family. I am frustrated because I am now on the hook for the office’s scheduling mistake while also playing middleman between them and my insurance. My insurance is claiming that it’s clear to the provider on the frequency of my cleanings, while Young Family is claiming that the frequency was unclear. I was offered no apologies by Young Family. Instead, I was told that I could pay just $70 instead of the $130. They did admit that the scheduling was an error, but that was it. I am now writing an appeals letter to insurance while debating putting this bill on a credit card to avoid being sent to collections. We are currently on 1 tight income due to my spouse being in school full time and just having a new baby in May 2026. Really frustrated but mainly sad that I have to now find a new dentist for me and my family.

We love Young Family Dental. We've gone here for years. Jacqueline is always my hygienist and she's the best!! I'm so happy that they take Medicaid and are still a high quality facility! I recommend them. The only drawback i can think of is that i needed to take my child to a different facility to get anesthesia included for free during wisdom teeth removal.
This happened with two kids, and both times, the kids records didn't transfer without some extra effort on my part.

Dr Pung was nothing short of amazing. I’ve had some seriously rough dental experiences and without even knowing how freaked I was, he was so funny, kind, and explained everything to me. Can’t recommend him and my hygienist, whit enough!! Whit was so personable, gentle, and went above and beyond when I told her about my teeth sensitivity. She went out of her way to find products throughout the office that would ease the sensitivity during my cleaning and then explained in detail everything I needed to get at the store, what actives to look for, etc to help with my teeth. Meeting them was accidental since I live in AF and thought I had made an appointment closer to home but I am so grateful the stars aligned to come to this office! I hate the dentist everyone. But not these guys!! I’m taking them with me wherever I go 🤣

I was so nervous to get dentures. I called quite a few places before I called young family dental. I finally chose them. Right from the first visit, they made me feel comfortable and at ease about getting dentures. The dentist and his whole staff have been nothing but wonderful. I am very confident that when this process is done I will be so happy with my new smile. Thank you so much young family dental!!

This is my second experience with Young Family Dental in Riverton. The first time I had cleaning and a crown put on and the second time, I just had cleaning. Everyone is super friendly and the whole experience was as delightful as a trip to the dentist can be.

Came to dentist needing alot of work! I had some missing teeth where I wasn't able to smile for years! The staff took very good care of me, communicated well! Dr. GERVASI took very good care of me, also communicates very well with treatment plans! I like that Dr. Gervasi seems to care. I highly recommend him. Yasmin the assistant is very nice and calming! Give them a chance!

I’ve been a patient at Young Family Dental in Saratoga Springs, Utah, for about two years, and Dr. Wood has been my dentist throughout that time. I can’t say enough about how professional he is.

I’ve had several issues with my teeth and gums, and Dr. Wood consistently went the extra mile to take care of me. He made sure I was pain-free and that every procedure was done thoroughly and correctly.
